The Manga/Anime Club

The Manga/Anime Club is a group for teens who enjoy Japanese manga, anime, or pop culture.  This lively club has been meeting at the library since 2011 and is accepting new members.  Club members gather every other week to draw, participate in special projects and crafts, and hang out with people who have similar interests.  Basic art supplies and learning materials are provided for those who are learning or practicing manga-style cartooning.
The group usually meets in the Teen Garage on two Friday afternoons each month.  Meetings are from 4:00-5:30pm.  This club is free and open to teens ages 12-17.  Upcoming club meetings and special events will be listed on the library’s Events calendar.  To find out more about the Manga/Anime Club, please contact Sara Addison-Kristel at (336) 883-3244 or sara.addison@highpointnc.gov.
