Book Babies - March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 at 10:00 in the Storyroom. A storytime program for ages birth to 11 months.
Book Worms- March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 at 10:00 in the Storyroom. A storytime program for ages 12 months to 23 months.
Time for Two's- March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 at 11:00 in the Storyroom. A storytime program for 2 year olds.
Morning Preschool Storytime - February 5, 12, & 19 at 11:00 in the Storyroom. A storytime program for 3-5 year olds.
Afternoon Preschool Storytime - March 4, 11, 18, 25 at 2:00 in the Storyroom. A storytime program for 3-5 year olds.
Upcoming Craft Programs
Occasionally we have musicians, animal shows, acrobats, jugglers, magicians, storytellers etc. come to the library for a special show. Or we might offer a holiday program, a carnival, bingo or some other fun event for kids.
Upcoming Special Programs
Celebrate Chinese New Year with a craft program. Friday, February 20th at 4:00 in the Storyroom. No registration is required.
Storyteller and dancer April C. Turner will present “Dancing Stories” in the Storyroom on Saturday, February 28th at 3:00 as part of HPPL’s annual Black Expo. This show is an inspirational way to build community, learn about African culture and bring students, neighbors and friends together for a good time! No registration is required.
Culinary Kids is a fun and simple cooking program for elementary school age children. Thursday, March 5th (rescheduled from February 19th) and Thursday, March 26th at 6:30. No registration is required.
Celebrate ‘Read Across America Day’ with a birthday party for Dr. Seuss. Join us in the Storyroom on Saturday, March 7th for crafts, treats and Seuss stories! Drop in between 2:00 - 4:00. No registration is required.
The Magic Tree House Club will meet on Tuesday, March 17th at 3:30. No registration is required.
Star Party: Astronomy for Everyone This is a fun and educational program about the stars, presented by Astronomer Kevin Manning, a former consultant with NASA. We will start in the Storyroom and end up outside where everyone will get a chance to view the night sky using a powerful handcrafted telescope. No registration is required. Thursday, March 19th from 6:30 - 8:30
